Critical analysis of issues that matter

Nick is a former assistant editor of the Sunday Tribune, deputy editor of the Belfast Telegraph and editor of the Irish News.

He currently edits and writes for Scope NI, Northern Ireland’s public policy magazine which is funded by NICVA.

Scope provides rigorous analysis of important issues and is a must-read for those involved in the voluntary and public sector, including policy-makers, politicians and anyone interested in building a vibrant civil society.
Ryan Miller also writes for Scope NI and had a previous career on a successful Fleet Street news agency filing copy for all the national newspapers.

Nick is the editor of NICVA’s public policy magazine Scope NI. He has done a fantastic job with this publication and he also contributes thoughtful, in-depth articles on a very broad range of policy issues. We get continuous positive feedback on the quality of articles published. NICVA is privileged to have an editor of his calibre and experience. NICVA has at times taken professional advice from Nick on wider communications issues and always appreciated his breadth of experience, knowledge and sound judgment on sensitive or difficult issues. He is a professional we can trust.
